Your mission

Join us and help shape the future of juvenile product as part of an entrepreneurial Connected team at Dorel Juvenile. We’re looking for you to be a voice for our customers and a champion of outside-the-box thinking and cross-functional problem solving. You will drive the future of parenting by guiding our engineers, developers, creatives, and partners across the organization. Doing so requires you to be able to; Empathize with our internal and external customers. Define and communicate personas, pain points, opportunities. Lead ideation sessions and prioritize investigations. Rapidly prototype and test potential solutions. Refine product vision and roadmaps. Communicate to organization and external partners. Balance business, customer, and partner needs. Key responsibilities

Strategic: You will help define the product roadmap and engage with various departments to manage the short and long term vision for products and be the champion of customer while balancing business needs. Define and implement release plans, reporting, and continual improvements to the product. Identify key performance indicators, strive for improvement and communicate progress. Be a leader and identify and proactively take on initiatives and be able to work in a growing and changing environment. Communicate vision and progress internally and externally, from PR to community support, BI, data management, developers, security, legal and C-levels. Tactical: Manage team’s priorities and execution against defined goals. Define and implement release plans, reporting, and continual improvements to the product. Identify key performance indicators, strive for improvement and communicate progress. Work closely with the engineering teams to deconstruct problems into actionable items and assist in creating an execution plan and keeping teams on track. Manage team’s priorities and execution against defined goals. Effectively communicate and manage changes and expectations to project scope and schedule. Define problem spaces/opportunities, write detailed product specs, scope efforts, maintain documentation and manage a cross-functional team to deliver against those requests.


Your profile

Proven record of working with business and engineering leadership to deliver product. Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with an ability to motivate teams and deliver results. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams simultaneously, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Demonstrated ability to use quantitative and qualitative data to drive improvements. Expert level knowledge of project management methods and tools. Must have a customer-centric approach, experience with Design Thinking is a plus. Experience with Agile is a plus. BS in Business/ Marketing/ Computer Science / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering preferred.
